Severe thunderstorms pass through DC region

9:29 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Charles, Prince George's, St. Mary's and Calvert counties in Maryland until 10:15 p.m.

9:09 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 10 p.m. for Charles, Spotsylvania, King George and Stafford counties.

8:41 p.m.

A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 11 p.m. for Anne Arundel and Howard counties in Maryland. The warning has been canceled for Washington D.C., Prince George's and Montgomery counties.

8:30 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Charles County, Prince George's County, St. Mary's County and Calvert County in Maryland until 9:30 p.m.

8:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for St. Mary's, Charles, Anne Arundel, Prince George's and Calvert counties in Maryland as well as King George, Stafford, Fairfax and Prince William counties in Virginia.

7:29 p.m.

Prince William County and Fauquier County in Virginia are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 8 p.m.

7:14 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 8 p.m. for Washington D.C., Charles County, Anne Arundel County, Prince George's County and Calvert County in Virginia. Arlington County, Stafford County, Fairfax County, Prince William County, and the cities of Alexandria, Manassas, Manassas Park, Fairfax and Falls Church in Virginia are also under the warning.

7:06 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning until 11 p.m. for the District of Columbia, Anne Arundel, Prince George's, Montgomery and Howard counties in Maryland.

7:05 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 7:15 p.m. for Warren, Fairfax, Prince William, Fauquier, Loudoun, Rappahannock and Culpeper counties in Virginia as well as the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park.

6:35 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued until 7 p.m. for Montgomery, Fairfax and Loudoun counties until 7 p.m.

6:27 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the District of Columbia as well as Montgomery, Anne Arundel, Prince George's, Baltimore, Howard and Baltimore City in Maryland. Fairfax County, Prince William County, Loudoun County, City of Alexandria, City of Fairfax, and City of Falls Church are also included in this warning.

6:14 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Carroll County, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City and Harford County in Maryland until 6:45 p.m.

6:01 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 6:30 p.m. for Washington D.C. and Carroll, Prince George's, Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Frederick, Montgomery, Howard and Baltimore City in Maryland. Fairfax, Clarke and Loudoun counties in Virginia are also included in this warning.

5:51 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Frederick, Carroll and Baltimore counties in Maryland until 6:30 p.m.

5:46 p.m.

A Tornado Warning has been issued for Baltimore County and Harford County in Maryland until 6:15 p.m.

5:45 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 6:15 p.m. for Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City and Harford County in Maryland.

5:27 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 6 p.m. in Frederick, Montgomery and Howard counties in Maryland.
