School buses stranded in Dale City during morning snowfall

The first snow of 2015 caused school closures and traffic delays all around the metro area.

For those schools that weren't closed, the drive to school was treacherous.

FOX 5's Bob Barnard spoke with school bus drivers who were trying to navigate the snow covered streets in Prince William County, Virginia. Several buses became struck at an intersection in Dale City around 9:30 a.m.

The driving conditions were described by the bus drivers as 'horrible.'

At last report, busloads of children were still waiting to get to school.

No injuries were reported in the Dale City incident.
