REI holding grand opening for District of Columbia store

WASHINGTON - REI is holding a grand opening for its District of Columbia store. REI says it will open the store with a three-day block party that begins Friday.

The store says that there will be free breakfast and coffee each morning along with music. On Saturday and Sunday, they'll have live bands, beer gardens, s'mores, screen printing and a climbing wall. The store says that on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the first 500 people in line will get a custom Camelbak bottle with a gift card.

The store is adjacent to the NoMa/Gallaudet Metro station.
