Police: Toddler found wandering alone in southeast

D.C. Police say they've located the parents of a toddler who was found wandering in a neighborhood in southeast Washington early Monday.

The young boy was found barefoot around 12:50 a.m. in the 1300 block of Morris Road. Authorities believed he was 2 or 3 years old.

The child was in the custody of D.C. Child and Family Services until the parents were located. No charges were filed, and authorities called it a happy ending.
