There was a report of an active shooter situation at the Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland.
According to Harford County Sherrif's office, police got a call around 2 p.m. Saturday for a report of a possible armed suspect and shots fired.
Police were on scene in five minutes and secured the area.
After speaking with multiple witnesses it has been determined no shots were fired.
A person reported someone holding a possible firearm and others reported seeing a person with a mask. No one matching that description was located.
Officials closed down the area and searched all the buildings but they didn't find anything.
School officials say that the campus is safe at this time
The situation is reported to be on the grounds and fields."
School officials asked everyone to avoid the area and shelter in place until situation is contained.
Harford County Sheriff's department tweeted that there's no confirmation of an active shooter or shots fired at this time.
