Police investigate homicide after man found shot dead in Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Prince William County police are investigating a homicide in Woodbridge. Officers were called to the 14400 block of Village Drive around 10:50 p.m. Wednesday.

When they arrived they found a man, identified as 20-year-old Zachary Blaise Meter, in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.

Meter was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives say a woman who knew Meter was also at the scene but was not injured.

Police have no suspects or motive, but they say this was not a random act.
