Police find car of 71-year-old man missing from Clinton park

Authorities are searching for a 71-year-old man who went missing from his residence in Clinton, Maryland. Arthur Makholm, Jr. was last seen at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 6 when he told family members he was driving to the Cosca Regional Park nearby his home.

Police located Makholm's unoccupied car in the park's parking lot.

He is described as a white male, 6' 2", medium build, around 200 lbs., with a mustache, curly auburn-grey hair, and is wearing glasses.

Officers say he recently suffered a minor laceration to his left hand.

Family says Makholm struggles with memory loss, a heart condition, and diabetes for which he takes medication.
