Police concerned for well-being of missing Ashburn man

ASHBURN, Va. - Loudoun County Sheriff's Office issued a call for help finding a missing 25-year-old man.

Timothy P. Thierer was last seen on May 31, 2016. Although that is not a long time to be missing, police they are concerned about his well-being. They are also using the help of a K9 unit.

Police say Thierer was last seen at his home on Armstrong Terrace around 10 p.m.. He is 6 feet, 8 inches and 425 pounds.

On Wednesday morning, the United States Park Police helicopter assisted in the search.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking anyone who has any information regarding his possible whereabouts to call 703-777-1021.
