Police: 10 juveniles assaulted woman in DC; 4 arrests made

WASHINGTON (AP) — District of Columbia police have arrested four of 10 minors in a woman's assault last month.

Police released few details except to say that about 10 juveniles assaulted the woman near the Columbia Heights Metro station in northwest Washington just before 7 p.m. on Jan. 22.

Police made their first arrest in the case on Jan. 30, charging a male juvenile with assault with significant bodily injury. Three more arrests came on Monday, when three juvenile females were charged with assault with significant bodily injury and mayhem.

And on Wednesday, police say the male they arrested in the assault on Jan. 30 was arrested and charged in an unconnected robbery.

Police are still trying to track down the other minors involved in last month's assault.
