Plane makes emergency landing on highway; hits car
A distressed pilot in Minnesota made an emergency landing on top of a moving car.
The pilot landed his small plane right on highway-10 in Hawley, Tuesday after his engine apparently failed in mid-air and left him with only a few options.
The plane's speed was so fast upon landing that it caught up to a car on the highway.
The driver of the car says she could see the plane fast-approaching her, but couldn't get out of the way in time.
The propeller struck the car, chopping up its left side, before she could drive it into a ditch to get out of the way.
There was one other passenger onboard the plan, but amazingly, no one was injured in the collision.
