Pedestrian struck, killed along roadway in Greenbelt hit-and-run

GREENBELT, Md. - A pedestrian has been struck and killed along a roadway in Greenbelt in what police say appears to be a hit-and-run. The accident happened around 7 a.m. on Greenbelt Road, east of Capitol Drive.

The victim, identified as Chanel Nicole Hugley, 35, of Greenbelt, was located on the right shoulder of westbound Greenbelt Road and pronounced dead on the scene.
