Pay It Forward: Retired teacher in Prince George's County tends to students at bus stop

A retired teacher in Prince George's County is continuing to Pay It Forward to students in her neighborhood.

Cynthia Cogdell visits the children at her neighborhood bus stop to help keep them safe. She helps the younger students get lined up and even brings snacks for the children who may be going off to school without much to eat.

FOX 5 and Easterns Automotive Group teamed up with the Washington Redskins and her neighborhood to surprise Cynthia.

Joel Bassam from Easterns Automotive Group surprised Cynthia with tickets to a Redskins game, a signed Ryan Kerrigan jersey, a certificate for a spa day and snacks for the students at the bus stop.
