Montgomery County officials are trying to identify the two Good Samaritans who helped a man escape a burning vehicle in Bethesda.

The car fire happened Thursday morning at Rockville Pike and Grosvenor Lane when the man stopped his vehicle at the traffic light.

When fire and smoke filled his vehicle, two unidentified African-American men came to the driver's aid and broke out the rear driver's side window.

The two men helped the driver out but were not on the scene when emergency crews arrived.

Officials are seeking the two men in hopes of recognizing their good deed.
