Nik Wallenda, the 7th generation member of the legendary Wallenda family, has performed many amazing feats high in the air.

He has performed his stunts at Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and many other place around the world. On Wednesday, he tackled National Harbor with a very special high-wire walk ahead of the opening of the Big Apple Circus.

Wallenda performed Wednesday's high-wire act by walking between two buildings at National Harbor untethered. He walked the 230-foot span on a 5/8-inch cable while 75 feet above ground.

He made it look easy and finished the stunt after kneeling only once near the middle of the wire and crouching low to keep his balance just one other time near the end.

Before the big show Nik gave FOX 5's Annie Yu a chance to try out the high-wire. Annie was only a few feet about the ground when she tested out the stunt. Check out her performance and get more information about Nik Wallenda and the Big Apple Circus.
