New surveillance video shows Texas biker gang shootout

It was truly a modern day, Wild West shootout. It happened back in May where nine people were killed and 177 others were arrested for a biker gun battle at a Texas restaurant.

Now, new surveillance video has surfaced from that violent biker shootout. CNN got the video from inside the restaurant during the incident.

The video is marked with "Waco Police Department." But I talked to their police spokesman on Thursday and he said they did not release the video nor the crime scene photos. And neither did the prosecution.

However the video got out, it gives you an up-close view of the Waco biker gang gunfight that you have never seen before.

It was a fight between rival biker gangs. The shooting appears to start outside the Twin Peaks restaurant.

In the video, some of the bikers crouch for cover behind tables while some others try to get away from the sounds of the shots.

The waitresses run in terror while some other bikers fire back. You can see one man shooting out toward the outside from the patio.

In the end, nine people were killed and 22 others injured.

In crime scene photos after the fight ended, the police found guns and knives all over the place. Gang logos are seen on a vest. One gun was thrown in the toilet.

Then the police rounded up the bikers, walking them out hands up. Police arrested 177 of them at the scene.

But so far, not one of them has been charged.

The judge has put a gag order on this case, so no one is talking publicly, which may be why someone released this evidence to CNN.
