UPS drivers hailed as heroes after chasing off 2 suspects who attacked man

The Gardena police department posted video on Facebook, writing "An important reminder to always pay attention to your surroundings."

Police say it happened on September 7 around 2pm, when the victim was leaving a bank and heading to a nearby UPS store on Western. 
 
As he was walking in the parking lot, police say two male suspects came up from behind and attacked him with a crowbar. The suspects attempted to take the victim's property, but fled after UPS employees and customers ran out from the store.
 
The suspects fled in a white sedan and the victim was not seriously injured.
 

The police also wrote in their post, "Shout out to UPS for hiring heroes!"

If anyone recognizes these suspects or have any information regarding this violent crime, please notify the Gardena Police Department at 310-217-9625.
