Metro restored following track problems that suspended service between several Red Line stations

Red Line train service has been restored along a portion of the Red Line that had been suspended between Gallery Place and Farragut North due to a track problem.

Officials say fire investigators were on the scene looking into the track issue. The problem appeared to be outside of the Farragut North station. Service hd been suspended for about 30 minutes.

Busses had been called to move passengers between stations.

No injuries were reported.
