Service is back to normal along a portion of D.C.'s Metrorail lines after officials say a man was struck by a train Friday morning.

The incident happened at L'Enfant Plaza around 9:30 a.m. Officials believe the person threw himself in front of the moving Blue line train.

Service along the Blue, Orange, and Silver line rail traffic has been suspended in both directions from L'Enfant Plaza due to the incident. Service has also been suspended between Smithsonian and Federal Center.
