ANNAPOLIS, Md. - (AP) - Early voting has begun in Maryland. Voters began casting ballots on Thursday morning.
Early voting polls will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Nov. 3. Individuals who are eligible but not yet registered can register and vote.
Statewide, there will be at least 64 early voting centers. The number of centers in each county is determined by the number of registered voters in the county. Counties with fewer than 125,000 registered voters must have one early voting center. Counties with more than 450,000 registered voters must have eight early voting centers. Counties can add an additional voting center.
Voters can cast ballots in an early voting center in their county. Here is a list of the 2016 General early voting sites: http://www.elections.state.md.us/elections/2016/2016_general_Early_Voting_Locations.pdf
