Man struck and killed by hit-and-run driver near Dupont Circle

D.C. police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run accident near Dupont Circle early Friday morning.

Police said the accident happened at around 2:40 a.m. at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and M Street in Northwest D.C.

Investigators said 29-year-old David Narvaez of Arlington, Virginia was struck as he was crossing the street. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.
