Arrest made in fatal stabbing inside DC apartment

WASHINGTON - Police arrested a 26-year-old man after a man was found suffering from stab wounds in his apartment and then later died, Metropolitan police said. Dani Hilliard, 26, of SE, D.C. was arrested and has been charged with second degree murder while armed.

Police were called to the 4400 block of Livingston Road around 1:30 a.m. Friday where they found the victim stabbed inside of a residence. Police identified the victim as 37-year-old Paul Ivey, of SE, D.C. Ivey was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
