Man killed while crossing road in Upper Marlboro


Police in Upper Marlboro say a man was struck and killed along Pennsylvania Avenue Sunday night.

An investigation revealed the man, 61-year-old Donald Durent Easter of South Chesterfield had been walking across the road when he had a possible medical emergency. Police say he was then run over by an unknown vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene when emergency crews arrived. If you have any information you're asked to call police.
