Man dead after shooting in Springfield

Fairfax County Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Springfield.

Officers say a man was shot around 10 p.m. Thursday night near Curving Creek Court. Officers say the victim died overnight.

Police say that there's no public safety threat to the community as they continue to investigate the motive for the shooting and search for suspect.
