Man arrested in the murder of his sister in law

Timothy Mark Fuller was arrested around 8:20 a.m. today in Jacksonville, Fla., by an officer making routine area checks in a parking lot. He was taken into police custody without incident and Howard County police will be working with Florida authorities. Fuller, 53, was wanted for the murder of his sister-in-law, 39-year-old Stacey Fuller, of the 6600 block of Washington Blvd., at their shared mobile home in Elkridge.

Tim Fuller, who is the brother of Stacey's husband, was wanted for first- and second-degree murder and first-degree arson. Stacey Fuller was found deceased with traumatic injuries around 10:35 a.m. Jan. 17 during a residential fire in the mobile home.

Police have learned that the three resided together in the mobile home and there may have been an ongoing family dispute.

Police believe Tim Fuller killed Stacey Fuller and set fire to the residence before escaping in a 2005 white Ford Focus. The car was located with Fuller in Florida this morning.

No one else was home at the time of the fire, however four dogs inside the residence also died in the incident.
