Man arrested for DC convenience store robberies

The suspect wanted for a series of armed robberies has been arrested, according to officials.

Glen Anthony Williams, a 54-year-old man, was identified and arrested by the Robbery Unit detectives at a convenience store in Prince George's County earlier today.

Williams is linked to four different convenience store robberies that have taken place in the last six weeks, according to officials. Although no one was hurt, the victim was found to have stolen cigarettes during each robbery.

The suspect has been charged with armed robbery and is under custody of the Department of Corrections.
