Power restored after outages leave parts of Annapolis in the dark

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Utility crews worked to restore power to parts of Anne Arundel County Thursday morning after widespread outages left tens of thousands in the dark.

The outages were primarily reported in the Annapolis area and at their peak, impacted over 32,000 businesses and residents.

Police officials said the outages also darkened some traffic signals in the area.
