WATCH: Dolphins swim, play in water near Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - An Annapolis-area woman captured the moment that a pod of dolphins frolicked in front of Lake Ogleton and Bay Ridge in Maryland.

Una Schloder shared the video with the community Facebook page Eastport Neighborhood Forum on July with the caption, "Dolphins out in the bay this morning in front of Lake Ogleton and Bay Ridge! Got a cool video of one of the babies! So beautiful!"

According to the Chesapeake Bay Program, small pods of bottlenose dolphins are "frequent visitors to the Chesapeake Bay during the summer months. They are most often seen in the saltier lower Bay but have been spotted as far north as Annapolis, Baltimore and the Chester River."

Several other Facebook users commented on Ms. Schloder's video saying that they had seen dolphins in the area, too.
