Washington can clinch NFC East tonight

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — If the Washington Redskins improve to 8-7 tonight with a win over host Philadelphia, the Redskins will be NFC East champions. A loss would eliminate the Eagles from the playoff chase.

The Redskins are 1-5 on road while the Eagles are 3-4 at home. Redskins QB Kirk Cousins has been on fire lately with 16 TD passes, four TDs rushing in past eight games.

Ex-Eagle wide receiver DeSean Jackson has nine catches for 243 yards and one TD in two games vs. his old team. Jackson could be fired up to face his former team and coach Chip Kelly, who released him after the best season of his career.

One of Cousins' favorite targets lately has been tight end Jordan Reed, who has 16 catches for 204 yards and three TDs in last two games. Fellow wide receiver Pierre Garcon (gahr-SOHN') had 11 catches for 138 yards and TD when the Redskins beat the Eagles 23-20 back on October 3.

Eagles QB Sam Bradford has six TDs and one interception in two games against the Redskins.
