VIDEO: Suspect shoots at person on escalator at Columbia Heights Metro station

D.C. police are searching for two suspects involved in an incident where one of them fired a gun at a person on an escalator at the Columbia Heights Metro station.

Police say two suspects were chasing the victim in the 1400 block of Irving Street at around 12:15 p.m. Friday.

Surveillance video of the incident shows one of the suspects wearing jeans and dark-colored shoes pulling out his weapon and pointing at the victim as they reach the escalator. The suspect fires one gunshot before running away from the area.

Another suspect with dreadlocks and was wearing what appears to be a vest jacket arrives seconds later. He is seen walking near the escalator before walking away from the scene as well.
