Univ. of Md. student recorded in dorm restroom

Police are investigating yet another creepy crime at the University of Maryland after someone used a cell phone to record a male student in a restroom.

On November 4, campus police responded to Dorchester Hall for a report of a voyeur incident inside the men's bathroom.

The male victim was using the restroom when he looked up and saw a cell phone recording him, police said. The student yelled and the person with the phone took off. The victim was unable to get a description of the suspect. The victim said the cell phone was an iPhone 6 with a gray/blue case.

This is the third time this semester that a University of Maryland student reported a 'Peeping Tom' incident in one of the dorms. The victims were females in the other two cases.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact police at 301-405-3555.
