Tiniest house in DC on the rental market for $1,400 a month

WASHINGTON - It's considered the tiniest house in Washington D.C. and it's on the rental market for $1,400 a month.

The studio is located on Capitol Hill and is 252 square feet with a small backyard and off-street parking for one car. The landlord is even offering gardening.

Micro unit living is becoming a trend across the country as some minimalist embracing renters are more aware of their carbon footprint.

The house on 12th Street at C Street in Northeast D.C. has been listed on Craigslist.
