Taking flight on restored World War II B-17 Flying Fortress bomber aircraft

If you want to take a close-up look and even have the chance to fly in a piece of World War II history, the Baltimore area will be the place to visit this Labor Day weekend.

The famous Boeing B-17 "Madras Maiden" is on display at Martin State Airport celebrating 72 years since the end of World War II. Public flights and ground tours of the restored Flying Fortress bomber will be available to the public on Sept. 2 and 3.
