Suspicious package cleared at Reagan National Airport

WASHINGTON - Airport authorities say an all-clear has been given after a suspicious package was investigated at Reagan National Airport.

Police and a bomb squad unit responded Monday afternoon to investigate a checked bag located in Terminal B, according to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA).

An area of the ticketing level at the airport was closed off by police. However, operations continued normally and there were no delays or evacuations, the MWAA said.
