Suspect in custody after gunfire, police chase in Fairfax County; another suspect at-large

CENTREVILLE, Va. - Police have taken a suspect into custody and are searching for a second suspect after a shooting and police pursuit in Fairfax County Tuesday night.

Police say at around 8 p.m., a car and a house were struck by gunfire in the 13000 block of Big Yankee Lane in Centreville. No one was injured in the shooting, but the suspect car fled from the area afterwards.

A police chase began after an officer located the suspect vehicle, which eventually ended in the 5000 block of Hazel Ferguson Drive in Fairfax. Both suspects abandoned their vehicle and police were able to take a male suspect into custody.

Police are still looking for the second suspect, who is described as a white female, short with a thin build between 20 and 30 years old.
