Stolen dog reunited with its owner after two years

According to the Washington  Humane Society the day before Thanksgiving, their officers found a severely neglected Shih Tzu in a locked crate next to a dumpster. His hair was matted and his toe nails were so long that they had curled under his feet and impeded his ability to walk.
The little dog was microchipped and it that led the officers to his original owner, Jason Brandon.
Brandon told them that Polo had been stolen from him in Miami two years ago, never to be found... Until now.
Saturday morning, Jason drove down from New York, where he is currently living and him and Polo were reunited!
"This is just unbelievable," said Jason. "It's something you see on CNN!"
This amazing reunion would not have been possible if Jason had not microchipped his furry friend.
The Washington  Humane Society says  in order to get your pet microchipped, visit their Spay & Neuter Clinic in Southeast, DC Here
