Shots fired at Greenbrier Shopping Center in Fredericksburg, King George County man dead

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Fredericksburg police responded to a call at around 2 a.m. Saturday morning regarding shots fired outside the Greenbrier Shopping Center in the 2000 block of Plank Road.

Officials reported they found shell casings in the shopping center's parking lot.

Mary Washington Hospital called the police minutes later and said 23-year-old Alon Alvin Clipper from King George County had died from gunshot wounds after he was brought to the emergency room.

Detectives are investigating and are ask anyone with information about the incident to call police at (540) 373-3122.
