Tractor-trailer fuel spill on I-495 in Maryland

A hazmat unit has responded to northbound Interstate 495 before the River Road exit (Exit 39) in Maryland after a disabled tractor-trailer leaked fuel onto the roadway Tuesday afternoon.

The spill caused as many as three lanes to be blocked off as crews worked to clean up the fuel.

Officials say drivers should expect significant delays.
