Raccoon spotted on D.C. Circulator Bus in viral National Mall NPS post
WASHINGTON - One D.C. Circulator bus driver got an unusual passenger on board recently -- a raccoon.
Tucked in the very back of the bus, this "masked" rider was reportedly spotted on the National Mall bus route, going for a ride around National Mall and Memorial Parks, according to the National Mall National Parks Service.
The furry creature is seen tucked away in the very back of the bus, in a now-viral photo post shared by National Mall NPS.
"Look who decided to take a ride on the bus! Take the DC Circulator National Mall Route around National Mall and Memorial Parks. It's only a dollar! Spotting wildlife is not guaranteed..."
The National Parks Service did not say how the raccoon got onto the bus, but hopefully, he got to his destination.
