Missing visually impaired elderly man from Prince William County found

MANASSAS, Va. - UPDATE: Prince William County police say Herman Smith has been located and is safe.

Police are searching for an elderly visually impaired man who is missing from Prince William County.

Officers say 88-year-old Herman Smith was last seen leaving Manassas Mall on Sudley Road on Tuesday, June 12 around 1 p.m.

Smith is regarded as an endangered adult who is visually impaired. He is described as a black male, 5-feet-2-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds with gray hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and dress shoes. He had on a tan hat, was carrying a burgundy bag, a rolling suit case and was possibly using a walking stick.
