Police: Va. man calls 911 to ask for rolling papers

A Virginia man called 911 in a disoriented state to ask for rolling papers, according to the Waynesboro Police Department.

Upon receiving the call, the 911 operator sent two police officers to the 1800 block of North Talbott Place, where police said they found 24-year-old Kyle Dustin Head in a parked truck with a strong smell of marijuana coming from it. The officers also noticed marijuana on Head's clothing, the dashboard, the passenger seat and in his right ear.

According to police, Head admitted to smoking marijuana recently and said he thought he was calling a friend when he dialed the 911 operator.

Head was cited for misdemeanor marijuana possession and released from custody.
