Police: Juvenile shot in Southeast

WASHINGTON - DC Police are investigating a shooting in the 2500 block of 12th Place in Southeast that injured a 7-year-old boy.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon in the middle of the afternoon by a school and several churches..

Police said the victim was conscious and breathing and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Officials say the suspect in Saturday's case is a black male in his late 20's or early 30's with shoulder-length hair, wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.
