Red Line train service resumes after suspicious package cleared at Forest Glen Metro station
SILVER SPRING, Md. - Metro train service has resumed between the Silver Spring and Wheaton stations on the Red Line after police investigated a suspicious package at the Forest Glen station.
Metro Transit Police say officers and K-9 units have cleared the suspicious item that was left unattended on the platform and they have performed a secondary sweep of station.
Metro says riders should expect delays. Metro also recommends some alternative routes for riders on Metrobus:
