Police investigate report of suspicious man possibly wearing bomb vest at UDC campus

A large police presence has responded to the University of the District of Columbia for the report of a suspicious man who may have been wearing a bomb vest.

D.C. police say they received a call at around 9:08 p.m. who reported the suspicious person at Building 44 on campus in the 4200 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW.

Officers for D.C. police, campus police, U.S. Park Police and the Secret Service were seen at scene investigating and canvassing the area. No suspect has been located.

The university is not on lockdown at this time, officials say.
