Fairfax County Police detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying two victims who died in a fiery crash early Saturday.

Police say at around 4:26 a.m. officers responded to a single vehicle crash on southbound Route 28 near the McLearen Road exit in Herndon.

A preliminary investigation reveals that a newer model Honda CRV was driving at an "excessive speed and drove off the roadway to the right, striking a utility pole."

Police say both passengers, two men who remain unidentified due to extensive fire damage to the vehicle, died at the scene of the crash.

Detectives say both men appear to be light-skinned and under the age of 25.

They say the driver has a "unique tattoo of a large eagle with its wings spread, holding a trophy in its' talons." It is centered across the entire front of the driver's chest, according to detectives.

Police say the driver was also wearing a gold chain.
