Person injured in Waldorf motel shooting

WALDORF, Md. - A person was shot inside a motel room in Waldorf, according to officials.

The shooting took place at the Super 8 motel in the 3500 block of Crain Highway.

The Charles County Sheriff's Office says the victim was shot in the lower extremities, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
