Motorcyclist, passenger killed in Fairfax County crash

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - A male motorcyclist and a female passenger are dead after a crash in Fairfax County on Sunday afternoon.

Virginia State Police say the motorcycle was coming through a curve in the ramp from northbound George Washington Parkway toward southbound I-495 when the operator lost control.

Both the man and the woman - who have not been identified - were thrown from the bike.

Police say the rider and the passenger were not participating in Rolling Thunder.
