Metro: Person struck by train at East Falls Church station

ARLINGTON, Va. - Metro says normal rail service has resumed at the East Falls Church station after a person was struck by a train.

Trains were temporarily single-tracking on Wednesday as a result of the incident.

Metro Transit Police say the victim has been removed from the track and was transported to the hospital.

Both Arlington and Fairfax fire officials were both on the scene investigating.
