Man shot and killed outside of Food Lion grocery store in Manassas

MANASSAS, Va. - Prince William County police say a man was shot to death in the parking lot of a Food Lion grocery store in Manassas.

The shooting happened in the 6300 block of Hoadly Road just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police say.
