Students at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School are honoring teen victims of gun violence on the first anniversary of the deadly shooting massacre in Parkland, Florida.

Early Thursday morning, students at the school began hanging shirts representing teen victims who died from gun violence in 2018.

Each of the 671 shirts had the name of a teen victim written across it.

One year ago, 14 students and three staff members were killed when a gunman opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Mourners in Florida will mark the anniversary with an interfaith service at a Parkland park, near the school. Students will perform service projects and will observe a moment of silence.
