Teen boy shot in Northeast DC, police say

WASHINGTON - Police say a 14-year-old boy was shot Wednesday afternoon in the Kenilworth neighborhood of Northeast D.C.

According to police, they received a call at around 4:25 p.m. about the shooting, which took place in the 1500 block of 45th Place.

FOX 5's Marina Marraco reports the victim was wounded in the leg. Officials say the teenager was conscious and breathing at the scene.
